Catherine Anne

                 Catherine Anne O'Hara OOC (born March 4, 1954), is a Canadian-American actor and comedian. O'Hara is the proud winner of many awards, including an award called the Genie Award. In 2018, O'Hara was made an Officer of Canada. In 2020 she was presented with the Governor General's Performing Arts Performing Arts Artistic Achievement Award. O'Hara's first recognition as an actress while she was a part of The Second City improv comedy troupe in Toronto in 1974. With John Candy and Dan Aykroyd she was part of the main ensemble of the sitcom Coming Up Rosie (1975-1978). The next year, O'Hara and Candy began working on the sketch comedy program Second City Television (1976-1984), where she drew the attention of critics for both her work as a comic actor and writer, securing a Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Writing for a Variety Series in 1981. O'Hara was named to the Second City artistic advisory panel in 2022 by Stephen Colbert. Also included were Dwayne Colbert (Steve Carell), Tina Fey and Keegan-Michael Key and Jane Lynch, Tim Meadows.
